Kegalle

A mid-way of old tradition and the new enterprise. Once home to freedom fighters and aristocrats. Attractions
Uthuwankanda
During the colonial period, this was called "castle rock". The rocky slopes at the top of this mountain range are visible to the British in the style of the Rhine Palace in Europe. Travel from Colombo to Kandy passing the Kegalle and Molagoda districts directs 'Uthuwana Road' on the left hand and along the broadway 1km and from the junction left side takes to the rock. Devanagala Raja Maha Viharaya

Barandy Kovil

Bathalegala mountain
The Bathalegala mountain, ascending to a stature of 798m above sea level, is arranged close Aranayake.
